Overview
We are setting up an instance of Discourse to manage a Tor's forum and implement comments to the new static blog in Lektor.
Scope
- forum will be used for support to Tor's users
- it will host all the comments in the new static blog
- will require 2FA for all staff members
- it will have a moderation policy public for everyone
The following features are not part of the scope of this project:

- Capacity to maintain a new piece of software.

Timeline
- October 13: invite Core contributors to create their accounts.
- October 19*: Moderator's training. We will have a moderation session, and all core contributors are invited to join this training. (* Date and time to be confirmed)
- October 20: Soft launch. Users will be able to create an account. We will add forum links to our websites, share with our training partners and announce on Tor mailing lists. It will be a good moment to learn how to do moderation, change and adjust the topics and categories, and so on.
- October 26: Official launch! We will publish a blog post announcing the new forum, new blog and share on social media. On RT we will add an invitation to the forum on our replies.
- October (TBD): Blog migration.
