Hi. In the FAQ, I find the following statement: 'If your browser says "The proxy server is refusing connections.", check that Polipo (the http proxy that passes traffic between Firefox and Tor) is running.' This is a good start, but it doesn't give the user any clue about what to do if polipo is _not_ running. Strongly suggest that at the very least you could tell people to examine the polipo crash log.
