HomeDepot (www.homedepot.com) site does not work with HTTPS

I keep receiving "WE'RE SORRY. An error occurred preventing this page from being displayed.

This could be due to one of the following reasons: An internal homedepot.com error occurred. The file or page you are looking for no longer exists. The URL that was typed is incorrect."

None mean anything to me or that I have control over. Except I change the FF extn for Https and HomeDepot so https was not used and all was OK. But I should not have to do this. Pls fix.
