Tab keeps crashing on Win 8.1 with Tor Browser 7 (in e10s mode)

Today on #tor we had a user reporting tabs crashing repeatedly after start-up up to the point that Tor Browser is basically unusable. After trying different things we ended up disabling e10s mode (by setting browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2 to false). That solved the problem.

Not sure how we can debug this further. :( The error console did not show a hint about what is going on.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
