v8.0 Tor launcher not running, browser not connected to Tor
8.0 (based on Mozilla Firefox 60.2.0esr) (32-bit) under Windows 10 64-bit.
The new version of Tor is not running when the browser is launched. This results in proxy connections being refused, and being forced to run without a proxy. Needless to say, this is a severe breach of security and needs immediate attention.
