Forward bridge fingerprint
This is just a draft but raises a few questions, like,
- if a client poll protocol version bump is desirable
- and, if so, does that imply the fingerprint is required in the new version
- where should the default fingerprint live
The dependent patches are ready for review if anyone wants to get that in early.
