Non-standard locale under downloads.json (aus1) endpoint
I'm working on a distribution bot, and I tried to use the Babel in Python to convert locale ISO codes to readable strings.
I noticed that the download.json endpoint lists the locale zh_CN
, which results in an error. I looked into it and discovered an issue on GitHub where the author brings up that zh_CN
is non-standard, and that "the canonical name of the locale is zh_Hant_TW
". Of course, I can just use my own dictionary in Python that converts the locales to their respective readable names, so it's not much of a deal to me, but I was wondering if that's an issue that The Tor Project would also be interested in fixing as well as because I'd like to politely ask for clarification. It seems to be getting in the way of me being able to implement i18n properly, so I was a bit worried as to whether this could prove to be a bigger issue for others later down the road.
