Touchscreen support for Linux
Summary
TorBrowser version 12.5.2 does not seem to support touchscreen scrolling or other gestures on Linux.
Setting MOZ_USE_XINPUT2=1 does not help, like it does with normal Firefox.
Also, attempting to scroll seem to crash the TorBrowser, which is annoying on a tablet when other browsers work with touchscreen and your muscle memory tends to attempt the same thing on Tor.
Steps to reproduce:
- Start TorBrowser
- Touch on the screen and try to scroll with your finger
What is the current bug behavior?
Does not scroll, and usually the browser crashes (seems to just exit without any segfaults?).
What is the expected behavior?
Scroll (or zoom, etc.) like normal Firefox, or at least not crash.
Environment
Debian 12, GNOME 43.6, Wayland on a Microsoft Surface Go 3 tablet (normal small amd64 PC), with standard Debian kernel.
TorBrowser installed from Flathub package com.github.micahflee.torbrowser-launcher (which is just a launcher wrapper to download the official Linux build, I believe?)
