The scripts expect an extracted tor-browser root directory to be in /.binaries/dev/. The 'deploy' script/Makefile target copies the compiled pieces over the existing tor-browser, and optionally does some repackaging. This separate step is needed since tor-browser.git repo has no knowledge of tor daemon, PTs, NoScript, etc.
