Sometimes services automatically localize their content based on your IP, so users would like to be able to select the country the exit node is located in to appear as though they are based in that country

It would be interesting, when we are looking into implementing this, to see how difficult it would be to make it so it is country-per-app, some apps need certain countries, others do not, this would minimize anonymity damage to just that app and also would be a key feature differentiator from existing VPNs which cannot do per-app at all

We can ignore the quality indicator in the figma designs for now. We can also consider to start implementing the UI with dummy values until onionmasq supports the required functionality to return a set of available exit node countries and a way to set a preferred exit node country.
