Investigate whether full NAT routing is needed
In the large VPN group meeting last week we discussed whether it would be useful to allow applications either to:
- Be offline (no network access)
- Be online-via-Tor
- Be online-via-ordinary-Network
We need a way to let an application access the internet as if Tor isn't a thing. This will allow users to reach captive portals and local printers.
We should look into whether this can be implemented where we build a software NAT router that detect which application is emitting the traffic and let the user choose whether to route via Tor or via local network.
