## Notes

### Achievements
To understand the strategy about global south, which were the biggest
achievements?
* In some trainings, people never heard about Tor or digital security.
* In some places, ours was the first security training for some activists.
* In East Africa they don't have social centers, Internet is expensive, they
need more financial support.
* Threat modelling.
* A workshop is not just a how to, but also why and discussion other tools.
* The role played by the current political context.
* Attendants want to help (run a relay, translate).
### Expanding partnerships
* Educational institutions.
* Digital security organizations.
* Create a channel (Matrix, IRC, Signal?).
* Challenge: Build a training pipeline.
* Improving the [Community Portal](https://community.torproject.org/).
* Find sponsor for this work.
* Need to discuss purpose of going to conferences for outreach.
* We need more narratives, like: why you need an onion service if your users
are already in Tor.
* Lets look at the personas when we do a training.
* Training journalists (SecureDrop, Onionshare).
* Have some material that goes beyond Tor, like advice on using social media
(such as the implications of having a "Like" button on their pages), privacy
for webdesigners, best practices on digital security. |
