Improve Ubuntu instructions on tor-deb-repo page
We got some feedback from a bridge operator (Sebastian) saying:
On https://support.torproject.org/apt/tor-deb-repo/ it reads: "/Note://Ubuntu Focal dropped support for 32-bit, so instead use.../". That should be "/From Focal onward, Ubuntu dropped support for 32-bit/". In the example, only the focal repository is mentioned. I believe this would be a better example:
echo "deb [arch=$(dpkg --print-architecture) signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/tor-archive-keyring.gpg]https://deb.torproject.org/torproject.org $(lsb_release -c | awk -F ' ' '{print $2}') main
deb-src [arch=$(dpkg --print-architecture) signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/tor-archive-keyring.gpg]https://deb.torproject.org/torproject.org $(lsb_release -c | awk -F ' ' '{print $2}') main" | tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/tor.list
This example works fine on Ubuntu. Probably the lsb_release command doesn't run out-of-the-box under Debian.
Given that the section in question is for Ubuntu users I guess the awk
part is actually fine.
