Dear Friend of Tor,
This is your invitation to join us at the upcoming Tor meeting in Rome from March 12 through 15. You can find more details on the wiki page:
https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/wiki/org/meetings/2018Rome
While we're still in the planning stages, here's the basic schedule:
Sunday, 11 March: meeting invitees arrive; group dinner in the evening
Monday, 12 March: structured agenda with specific tracks
Tuesday, 13 March: structured agenda with specific tracks
Wednesday, 14 March: self-organizing open space: working and hacking sessions
Thursday, 15 March: self-organizing open space: working and hacking sessions; everyone heads home
Note that our invitation list and agenda continue to evolve. While we enjoy working with the general public and infrequent contributors, there’s so much going on at Tor meetings that we’re limiting involvement to invited guests who have told us in advance they will be joining us. Tor Project members wanting even more open public involvement are invited to host something immediately after the meeting or to hold or attend hacking events separate from the Tor meeting throughout the year.

The Tor Project has a limited budget to help people attend the meeting, and you have been approved to have your expenses covered. To help us plan, please answer the following questions:
A) How much would you like the Tor Project to contribute towards your airfare (in USD)?
B) If you are in need of accommodations, please let us know at travel@torproject.org so we can put you on the hotel list. The Tor Project has reserved a block of rooms for this trip. All rooms are double occupancy by default. Please indicate if you require single occupancy or if you have any other special requirements. Please note that marking your intention on the wiki will not reserve a room for you!
NOTE: Please get pre-approval if you would like the Tor Project to pay for your room and you do not intend to stay in our hotel block. Note that we will be limiting reimbursement amounts for alternative hotel expenses to the reserved hotel’s double occupancy room rate.
There will be a dinner on Sunday, March 11, the evening before the meeting. If you plan to attend, please add yourself to the dinner list on the wiki page:
