Bridge testing gives timeout

Since yesterday night rdsys backend logs were showing:

2024/12/03 23:29:57 Test pool timer expired.  Testing resources.

And bridgestrap logs were empty. And it was not only that bridges were not being tested new bridges were ignored.

Not sure what failed here. Let's add some logs and at least an alert to find out if rdsys has stopped testing bridges.
