Title bar doesn't display the close/maximize icons on Windows 11

I haven't been able to reproduce, but a Mullvad employee has the following, using both the system install and the portable mode.

From the screenshot, it seems there's a dark theme used on that Windows 11. With the default light theme, I can't reproduce the issue.

Unfortunately, it appears when Windows 11 is not activated, you can't change the theme. So, I'm trying to get a license to test it out.^^"

Is it a regular Windows 11 installation?

I've just downloaded a dev VM, set the dark theme, but I see the tabs in light (sorta known bug, that might be solved when fixing the scrollbar problem):

So I got more info from the same person:

Tried changing to light mode, no difference. Still no title bars. What is also interesting is that new tabs do not show anything. If you look I have the settings tab open, the tab to the left is the browser homepage but it is totally black. Should say "Mullvad Browser Home" I expect.

@ruihildt does Firefox look normal in the same machine?

@ruihildt and just for kicks what happens if you disable hardware acceleration (in about:preferences > General)

@pierov Yes both Tor and Firefox look normal on the same machine.

@ma1: I think you're right: we should get a build with a correct manifest (!16 (merged)), maybe it's enough to fix this issue .

@richard Turns out with the browser set like in your screenshot, the bug is "fixed".

The manifest thinggy fixed this issue.
