Badges for Relay Operator Gamification

Here we track ideas for badges for relay operators.

A badge can be anything we want to see more of from relay operators (like OS Diversity.) ...or anything fun or engaging in any way. Classifying badges in two categories:

  1. Badges awarded to relay operators (on their profiles)
  2. Badges awarded to individual relays (seen in a list of relays an operator runs.)

Badges awarded to relay operators and relay associations/organizations (on their profiles)

1. Badges by Relay Type: Awarded to relay operators, depending on the type of relays they are running.

Case 1: Relay Operator has only Exit Node(s) in their relay family. Badge awarded: Valor

Case 2: Relay Operator has only Middle/ Guard Node(s) in their relay family. Badge awarded: Envoy

Case 3: Relay Operator has both Exit nodes and Middle/ Guard Node(s) in their relay family. Badges awarded: Valor and Envoy

Based on whether a relay operator has their email verified on sign-up on the Relays Portal.
