attglobal.net refusing mail from eugeni
A tor-relays@lists.tpo subscriber notified us that they're not getting their mail anymore. I looked at eugeni's logs and found lines like
Jul 5 21:47:02 eugeni/eugeni postfix/smtp[10158]: 3C5B7E1C75: to=<xxx@attglobal.net>, relay=mx1c45.carrierzone.com[216.55.149.41]:25, delay=4.7, delays=0.03/3.1/1.5/0.12, dsn=5.7.1, status=bounced (host mx1c45.carrierzone.com[216.55.149.41] said: 550 5.7.1 H:M11 [49.12.57.136] Connection refused due to abuse. Please see http://mailspike.org/iplookup.html or contact your E-mail provider. (in reply to MAIL FROM command))
So I went to mailspike.org and clicked on the "delist" request, which says it will work but warns that we'll probably just get blocked again soon.
It looks like in the short term it did work:
Jul 6 05:37:27 eugeni/eugeni postfix/smtp[9553]: B5204E0EDC: to=<xxx@attglobal.net>, relay=mx1c45.carrierzone.com[216.55.149.41]:25, delay=13, delays=0.04/6.3/5.2/1.9, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (250 2.0.0 0665bMit022713 Message accepted for delivery)
But it remains to be seen how long the fix lasts.
I think #34256 (closed) contributed to causing this incident -- and it should spur us into considering fixes for that ticket.
