publicize the hard work done on the puppet-related debian packages
me and @lavamind should make a blog post describing in shiny details how we rescued the puppet-agent, puppetdb, puppetserver (and related dependency) packages in Debian, which were seriously out of date.
describe how the issue was debated with the community, how upstream did not collaborate much (!), how it ended up learning so much about so many things, how everything is solid thanks to CI, and i'm probably forgetting more.
promise we'll keep bringing up our infra up to speed by killing legacy everywhere we find it, and that includes publishing more of our modules publicly.
consider closing #29387 completely in favor of this and a plan to publish a more discrete set of packages instead of the entire codebase.
ask @pavel for advice on how we should approach this.
