prometheus node exporter conflicts with dsa-update-apt-status

In recent days there has been a notable increase in conflicts between the prometheus node exporter script and dsa-update-apt-status:

E: Could not get lock /var/lib/apt/lists/lock. It is held by process 1204067 (python3)
E: Unable to lock directory /var/lib/apt/lists/

This seems to be a manifestation of Debian bug #1028212: prometheus-node-exporter-collectors: APT update deadlock - prevents unattended security upgrades.
