heads up: we're getting overwhelmed

I just wanted to write this down to make it official: we're seeing an unusually large number of issues and especially incidents. This issue aims at documenting this formally so we're not just individually feeling "hey this sucks, i feel alone and incompetent" but rather "wow, look at everything we're pulling off, this is amazin!"
