Search engine icon is not shown while typing in the address bar

Summary

When typing in the address bar, I can make a query to the default search engine. The logo is not shown, and this is confusing.

Steps to reproduce:

How one can reproduce the issue - this is very important.

1. Open a new tab
2. Type some words in the address bar, without pressing enter
3. look at the dropdown
