@richard digging into prepping 11.08 and going through backport cherry-picks. (and linking issues to #40454 (closed) . i'm noticing that at least one of the linked issues above ("Add Austin as valid git-tag signer #40441 (closed)") didn't seem to make it into the commit history i see in maint-11.0 leading up to the tbb-11.0.7-build2 tag. in fact i only see 3 commits that appear to be backports:

just want to make sure that:

1. what i am seeing is correct and up-to-date with the intended state of the commit history on maint-11.0
2. it is safe to go ahead and backport #40441 (closed) as part of 11.0.8 release prep
